You may use WorldStats only in compliance with applicable law. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

WorldStats is a public informational website offering country and city profiles, statistics, rankings, charts, weather and climate pages, time tools, compare tools, calculators, converters, methodology pages, and localized reference content assembled from public datasets and editorial presentation.

The site is provided for informational, educational, and reference purposes. It is not a government service, official statistical office, weather authority, legal adviser, financial adviser, medical provider, or travel-safety authority.

Nothing on WorldStats is legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, engineering, travel-safety, emergency, or other professional advice. Before relying on information from the site for important decisions, verify the underlying sources and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

Weather, air-quality, climate, sunrise, prayer-time, and time-zone features are informational tools and should not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical, aviation, maritime, medical, or emergency decisions.

We work to keep data, calculations, charts, translations, and methodology notes accurate and current, but public-source revisions, API latency, caching, translation issues, model assumptions, source gaps, and processing errors can result in omissions, approximations, or outdated content.

Public statistics often publish with a delay and may be revised retroactively by source organizations. Rankings and comparisons depend on available data and may exclude countries, cities, indicators, or years with missing or incompatible values.

We do not guarantee that every page, figure, API response, calculator result, converter result, forecast, ranking, or translation will always be complete, current, precise, or suitable for your particular purpose.

Calculators and converters are provided for informational and educational purposes only. Results may depend on formula assumptions, rounding, browser behavior, unit conversions, input validity, and source limitations.

You are responsible for checking whether a formula applies to your situation. Do not use WorldStats calculators as a substitute for professional financial, medical, tax, legal, engineering, or safety advice.

You may access and use the site for lawful personal, educational, editorial, and internal business purposes.

You may not misuse the site, including by bypassing rate limits or access controls, scraping or bulk-downloading in a way that burdens our systems, copying substantial portions of original site content without permission, reverse engineering or interfering with site behavior, probing for vulnerabilities without authorization, or using the site to violate another person's rights.

Underlying facts and raw datasets may come from third-party or public sources such as the World Bank, WHO, United Nations sources, Open-Meteo, GeoNames, REST Countries, IANA time zone data, and similar providers. Their data, trademarks, APIs, and licenses remain subject to their own terms.

If you reuse material from WorldStats, you are responsible for checking source licenses, obtaining any needed permissions, and providing appropriate attribution to the underlying data providers.

WorldStats retains rights in the site's branding, design, code, original explanatory text, curated selections, page structure, charts, user interface, methodology notes, and overall presentation.

You may link to WorldStats pages. You may not copy, frame, republish, or commercially exploit substantial portions of original WorldStats content in a way that substitutes for the site without permission, except where allowed by law.

WorldStats offers content in multiple languages. Some localized pages may be translated or adapted from English source material, including with automated assistance and validation checks, and may not be perfectly identical to the English source.

If translated content conflicts with the English source or appears unclear, the English version may be used to interpret the intended meaning to the extent permitted by law. Please report mistranslations through the contact page.

WorldStats may display advertising to support operation of the site. Advertising does not influence calculation logic, ranking formulas, source selection, methodology notes, or editorial explanations.

Advertisements, sponsored messages, or third-party widgets are controlled by their respective providers and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

The site may link to or rely on external sites, APIs, datasets, map data, weather providers, analytics tools, advertising systems, and other service providers. We do not control third-party content, uptime, availability, accuracy, security, or policies, and your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

We may update, suspend, remove, redirect, rate-limit, or redesign pages, features, APIs, calculations, datasets, rankings, or language support at any time. We are not obligated to continue any specific feature or retain any historical page state.

The site may be unavailable because of maintenance, deployment, provider downtime, abuse mitigation, network failures, or other operational reasons.

THE INFORMATION AND TOOLS ON WORLDSTATS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. RESULTS ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by Czech and EU law, WorldStats and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, use, data, business opportunity, or reliance, arising from or related to your use of the site.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where exclusion is not permitted, or personal injury caused by legally recognized fault.

If liability cannot be excluded entirely, it will be limited to the minimum amount required by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WorldStats and its operator from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your unlawful use of the site, your violation of these terms, your misuse of third-party data, or your infringement of another person's rights, to the extent permitted by law.

The WorldStats Privacy Policy explains how personal data, cookies, analytics, advertising identifiers, and contact messages are handled. Please read it together with these terms.

We may restrict or block access to the site or specific endpoints if we reasonably believe you are violating these terms, harming the service, bypassing technical limits, or creating security, legal, or abuse risks.

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when the current version was published. If changes are material, we may update the site notice or legal pages. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For consumers domiciled in another EU Member State, mandatory provisions of the consumer-protection law of their country of residence are not affected.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
